Darin Schoolmeester, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, embraces the challenges of high-density urban infill, mixed-use developments, luxury resort housing and conceptual land planning. His philosophy of "tailored execution" in architectural design assures that each project responds to both constraints and opportunities in a way that most benefits the client and the community.

Committed to creating built environments that enhance the lives of residents, Schoolmeester, who joined the firm in 1994, is leading MVE & Partners' sustainability focus in its designs. He believes MVE is strongly positioned to continue its leadership in high-density, mixed-use developments as well as other sustainable practices.

Schoolmeester finds that with growing project complexity, advanced planning and design skills are in demand more than ever. Escalating legal and code demands, the sustainability movement, client needs and community involvement require dedicated architects to design and guide each project. Schoolmeester believes that architects should be the leaders in making cities safer and better places to live.
