Jim Mittendorf, AIA was named VP of Operations in 2006 and works out of the firms Oakland, CA, office. Mittendorf oversees the more technical aspects of architecture such as code compliance, quality control, budget management, construction administration and field methodologies. He ensures that MVE & Partners delivers quality built environments from design through construction.
Pragmatic - but keen to let architecture serve function and beauty in a manner appropriate to each project - Mittendorf helps designers meet goals practically and economically. He is also charged with empowering staff through education and training.
