"MVE & Partners designs projects with the end result in mind, projects that are buildable and completed on time and on budget."
Since he joined MVE & Partners in 1994, Richard Castillo, AIA, NCARB, principal, has become the "go-to" man for the administration of major projects, keeping them on track and on budget.
Among Castillo's responsibilities are the management of construction documents and the monitoring of complex projects from design development through project completion. Castillo makes certain that significant infrastructure and major design features are rendered and constructed in a timely fashion and in proper sequence.
Castillo oversees work in early design stages, provides technical oversight, budgeting, management of production, as well as project staffing needs for the firm. He offers a realistic design approach and an uncanny expertise in building codes.
By mixing and matching architects on project teams, Castillo plays an important role in one of MVE & Partners' hallmark traditions, that of architects freely sharing information, knowledge and skills. He is also involved with the interviewing and hiring of new architects and younger staff members, emphasizing that MVE & Partners is an office intent on candidates' learning, growth and fulfillment.
