Building on MVE & Partners' most fundamental principles of client service and architectural excellence, President and COO Richard Emsiek, AIA, has expanded both MVE & Partners' team and its reach into new project areas, such as resorts, high-density urban residential, public-private ventures for the military and mixed-use design.
Emsiek has directed MVE & Partners to its noted reputation as a high-performance architecture and planning firm that delivers both the design and technical aspects of a project to the highest standards. Buildability is paramount for Emsiek, who has led MVE & Partners' design teams throughout past 22 years on a multitude of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, many winning awards from leading industry organizations including the Urban Land Institute, American Institute of Architects and the National Association of Home Builders.
Named Partner in 2000, Emsiek has helped develop MVE & Partners' senior leadership team, as well as MVE Studio, a new affiliated architecture and planning firm specializing in urban residential and mixed-use design forms. Believing that architecture and design in general, and MVE specifically, have the ability to positively influence communities, Emsiek instituted a mandate within the firm that each principal must adopt a cause, serve on a board or volunteer time and expertise.
