2009 We Care Event - Sponsoring Boys & Girls Club of Orange County

For the third year in a row, MVE employees helped spread holiday cheer by participating in the Herman-Miller/Geiger sponsored 'We Care' event. Over 160 underprivileged children from the Boys & Girls Club of Orange County in Costa Mesa, CA filled tables hosted by area design and architecture firms. The goal of this event is to provide these children with the opportunity to make creative, heartfelt gifts for their friends and families during the holiday season. MVE provided T-shirts on which the children were able to iron on holiday designs. Of the 160 shirts made this year, most were for their Mom or Dad.
