This year, CANstruction was in MVE's backyard at South Coast Plaza from September 6-20! CANstruction is a national event held in several major cities throughout the United States to raise awareness of hunger. It involves architecture and engineering firms who design and build large structures using only canned goods, which are then deconstructed and donated to the local food bank. Last year MVE participated and created the iPOD, iCAN structure and donated more than 1,550 cans. This year the team used over 5,200 cans to develop a structure called SOUPer Mario, which consisted of a variety of different ingredients to make soups!
