MVE & Partners Promotes Five Executives in its Southern California Regional Headquarters

McLarand Vasquez Emsiek & Partners, one of the region’s leading architectural planning and interior design firms, has promoted five executives in its Southern California regional headquarters located in Irvine. Reflecting the high performance and talent within these individuals, the company has promoted Darin Schoolmeester to senior associate partner; John Garakian, Salvatory Fulwider, Michael Flanagan to associate partners; and Kurtiss Kusumoto to associate.

In his new role as senior associate, eight-year MVE veteran Darin Schoolmeester will be responsible for managing several of the firm’s high-density residential and urban in-fill oriented projects.

Michael Flanagan, John Garakian, and Salvatory Fulwider have each been promoted to associate partners. A seven-year MVE team member, Flanagan’s duties include the management and technical documentation of high-density residential projects. Credited with four years at MVE each, Fulwider and Garakian, are responsible for many of the firm’s business and operational activities.

In his two years at MVE and demonstrating great skill in the commercial and residential disciplines, Kurtiss Kusumoto will be involved in managing and documenting the firm’s projects.
