MVE & Partners Announces Kenneth E. Nilmeier Named Principal and Paul Zaleski Senior Associate Partner

New principal will direct critical level of leadership, as one of numerous promotions at award-winning architectural, planning and interior design firm and its affiliate, MVE Institutional

MVE & Partners, the award-winning architecture, planning and interior design firm with offices in Irvine and Oakland, recently named Kenneth E. Nilmeier as Principal and Paul Zaleski as Senior Associate Partner. As Principal, Nilmeier will oversee all of the firm’s planning projects, which range from large-scale master plans and feasibility-use studies to detailed site specific plans and expansion assignments. Additionally, the firm and its affiliate – MVE Institutional – announced a set of promotions, demonstrating the solid leadership that runs throughout the organizations.

“Ken Nilmeier’s leadership continually challenges our firm to create contextual planning solutions that are uniquely applied to communities and integrated into the surrounding environment, avoiding reliance on preconceived design patterns,” observed Partner Ernesto Vasquez. “His vision has led us to complete complex projects including the CSU Channel Islands/East Campus, the largest faculty and staff housing project of its kind ever done under the California State University system, as well as Douglas Park in Long Beach, a 260-acre mixed-use master development plan for the revitalization of a former aircraft manufacturing site for Boeing Realty Corporation.”

Vasquez also noted that Nilmeier’s appointment is one of numerous promotions that have reinforced the depth of talent within MVE & Partners’ table of organization. Also promoted to a new executive management role was Paul Zaleski, who will now serve as Senior Associate Partner, leading the firm’s urban, affordable, workforce and senior housing efforts.
