MVE & Partners Sets Precedent with First-Ever NAHB Award in Multifamily For-Sale Category Awarded to a Fractional Ownership Resort Property

MVE & Partners, a national architecture, planning and interiors firm headquartered in Irvine, recently set a precedent when the firm won a coveted 2006 Pillars of the Industry Award for the Best For-Sale Multifamily Community, with 15 units per acres or less. The project recognized – the oceanfront Marriott Newport Coast Villas resort in Newport Beach, California - is the first-ever fractional ownership resort to receive the award in this category.

Award jurors for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) sponsored Pillars of the Industry Awards gave special consideration to the Marriott Newport Coast Villas resort, impressed with the location, site plans and views, according to Ann Marie Moriarty, director of industry relations for NAHB.
