This unique six-phase mixed-use facility complex was developed with the CRA/LA as the North Hollywood Business and Entertainment Center. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the project's theme tenant, includes the home of the Academy, a future museum and library for the study of television, a 600-seat screening theater, and the Hall of Fame Plaza. The plaza includes a 25-foot Emmy Statue and features a "Pope's Balcony" from which the annual Emmy nominations are made to the media gathered below. Five large plazas are featured throughout the project including the Metro Plaza, the final stop of the Metro Rail from downtown. The first phase of the development includes a key eight-story, 143,000 sq.ft. tower and a 13,000 sq.ft. retail plaza; a six-level parking structure with 680 stalls, a 350-unit apartment complex, and the famous 20,000 sq.ft. Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Headquarters.
