The Franciscan Vistas Ewa, HI

St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii is developing the $100 million senior residential care community located on 23 acres on Renton Road near the old sugar mill. This residential community will address the needs of Hawaii's growing elderly population. The plan for The Franciscan Vistas includes the construction of 280 single- and two-story affordable townhomes ranging in size from 1,170 to 1,325 sq.ft. and flats ranging from 600 to 1,000 sq.ft. Also included will be 60 two-story detached cluster homes ranging from 1,200 to 1,650 sq.ft. in size. The housing project will be designed to anticipate the future health demands of residents and will include accessibility requirements and a case management office to coordinate services. Other on-site amenities include a 15,000 sq.ft., two-story senior community center and a 5,000 sq.ft. adult day care center.
