Seabridge is a new waterfront community in Ventura County organized around a network of waterways and public open spaces. Canals, marinas and recreational bays are carved into the land forming two island neighborhoods that have bridge connections to the integrated commercial and residential waterfront district. The new waterways are an extension of the existing Channel Islands Harbor.
Waterfront access is the primary amenity of this community, including over two linear miles of waterfront pathways; 16.5 acres of parks; 32 acres of open waterways, featuring an eight acre recreation bay with two beaches; and a 247-slip public marina.
The character of Seabridge is California Coastal, incorporating a variety of regional styles including: Craftsman, Cottage, Spanish and Spanish Monterey. In addition, the mixed-use waterfront incorporates metal roof, railings and awnings completing the marina atmosphere. Detailed architectural stonework is used throughout the community as a unifying thematic element.
The commercial waterfront includes over 180,000 sq. ft. of retail and live/work commercial space within two centers. The neighborhood center wraps around the recreational waterfront, anchored by a market and incorporating a public amphitheater which terraces down to the water. The marina center wraps around the public marina and is anchored by restaurants with large terraces overlooking the boat slips. The marina center incorporates 101 townhomes and flats, with an additional 110 live/work units above and adjacent to the commercial space.
The island neighborhoods are composed of 274 single-family homes, many of which are situated on the water with private docks. Public access is enhanced with pedestrian walkways linking the entire community and complementing the live/work/entertainment lifestyle in a coastal setting all within an hour drive from Los Angeles County.
