The new corporate headquarters for Sammy Studios provides a unique environment for the design of video game software that meets the client's functional requirements while expressing the creative nature of their industry.

Located within a large existing warehouse, MVE created a world within a world to lend scale and definition to the space while articulating separate departments and activities. Visitors enter into a life sized video game and experience different lands that unfold as the traveler passes through the space. Tunnels, twists and turns are incorporated throughout the design to add variety and a level of intrigue to both the visitor and the end user. A second level was inserted into the space to create a separate executive level and to provide a viewing platform for the activity below.

MVE employed modest, standard construction materials in a creative manner to keep construction costs down and meet an aggressive construction schedule. Custom designed workstations and furnishings throughout the space lend design cohesion, while the dramatic use of lighting reinforces the character of video games.
