Centex Homes, a national home builder, teamed up with MVP International to provide a unique high-density community of urban townhomes as part of a larger infill redevelopment master plan by Catellus Development.
Fusion is comprised of 280 urban townhomes that reflect a contemporary lifestyle image for the South Bay. Stylistically, the townhomes were designed to attract the young families and professionals to the South Bay region. Fusion reflects the contemporary lifestyles of this younger market segment, with a fresh approach to "urban" living.
The architecture has contemporary lines, forms and colors that reflect a lifestyle for a market that has not typically been addressed. Centex approached Fusion as an opportunity to bring a contemporary style with southwest influence to the southern California marketplace. Forms are simple with enriched stone materials at the base and retaining walls. Window and door details use rich colors and contemporary lines. The landscape and hardscape also utilize these same elements to create a sense of place. This gated community will have direct access to parking from the individual units. Floor plans range in size from 1,000 to 1,800 sq.ft.
