South Coast Repertory Theatre Costa Mesa, CA

MVE served as the Executive Architect and Architect of Record, in association with Cesar Pelli & Associates of New Haven, Connecticut as Design Architect, on the $19 million expansion and renovation of the South Coast Repertory Theatre. SCR's expansion is part of an effort to transform the area near South Coast Plaza into a cultural complex of national stature. Plans included the addition of a third theatre and an expanded lobby, as well as revitalization of the existing two theaters, production facilities, dressing rooms, theater shops, offices and classrooms.
