Developed on recycled land from the former Durant Manufactoring Plant of last century, this town home development succeeds in blending the massing of the old with the new neighborhood uses through creative reuse of storage and railroad yard through strategic land planning. Attached flats and town homes provide home owners with new, affordable housing options. Each unit has an attached garage, either as tandem or parking, most with direct access. The architectural character is based on the regional "craftsman style" of the Bay Area, which was so popular at the turn of the century. This project symbolizes the goals of smart growth and gives new life to the existing fabric of the community.
