Jacaranda at Indian Ridge Palm Desert, CA

Services: Architecture | Planning Client: Sunrise Colony CompanyContractor: Sunrise Colony CompanyCompletion Date: June, 2001

Situated within Indian Ridge Country Club, these homes occupy the finest locations and orientations with views to dramatic water features, fairway length vistas and the nearby Santa Rosa Mountains. The design blends traditional Santa Barbara-inspired Spanish Colonial architecture with contemporary desert style. Large glazed windows are captured within thick battered walls. Broad overhangs are expressed in clay tile hipped roofs with rafter tailed eaves. Sculpted chimneys, patterned glass block, recessed niches and wrought iron detailing add a layer of richness to the exteriors.

Designed by McLarand Vasquez & Partners, Inc., an affiliated company.
