Port of Los Angeles Police Headquarters and Maritime Studies Center San Pedro, CA

This new proposed complex will house the Los Angeles Port Police Headquarters and Maritime Studies Center. Located adjacent to the existing Port Administration building in San Pedro, California, this unique facility will respond to the special security and training requirements of one of the nation's most prominent ports of entry. Members of the Port Police have complex and varied obligations which include security for the growing cruise industry, narcotics prevention and anti-terrorism protection for the shipping industry. The new 42,000 sq.ft. office complex is two stories over ground parking and will provide comprehensive physical training facilities, as well as administrative offices.
