This is a unique 13.8 acre walkable, mixed-use community which takes advantage of the site's special characteristics of light-rail transit and riverfront trails. Totaling 970 units, the development consists of six individual structures of four stories over a two-level subterranean garage, with commercial/retail activities in buildings surrounding the commons. Based on the architecture of Irving Gill, the flat and low-pitched roofs of The Promenade acknowledge the benign climate of the San Diego area and relate to an architectural tradition indicative of the region.
