This student housing project at Orange Coast College was developed through a public-private partnership led by developer Servitas and development team of Scion, HPI Architects (Architect of Record), and MVE + Partners (Design Architect). The introduction of a student housing community provides an enriching on-campus experience for its residents, as well as a vibrant place for connecting and learning for the broader OCC student and faculty population. Emphasizing connection to the campus and student socialization, the development features extensive courtyards and open space in addition to flexible multi-purpose and community gathering spaces throughout. In 2020, The Harbour at Orange Coast College received an Award of Merit in the ‘Project In Design’ category from the California Community College Facility Coalition (CCFC) Professional Design Awards.
