MVE is at the forefront of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology and has set a goal to have all new projects designed and documented in BIM. Revit is our software of choice and has been an integral tool within our office for nearly 6 years. While many firms are still in the experimental stages of this technology, MVE has demonstrated its practical application for a variety of building types and has developed innovations to improve our overall documentation process. Most of our Revit-trained staff are on their fourth or fifth projects employing this software and are able to fully apply the advantages of BIM to each project.

To stay ahead of the curve, we are constantly reinventing ourselves and developing new ideas and solutions. As a result, research and development has become an important part of our business. MVE works with builders, contractors, engineers and consultants to figure our innovative ways to make our projects more efficient, economical, sustainable and streamlined. Recently, MVE introduced IDEA (Innovative Density, Efficient Architecture) design solutions, a new series of design prototypes that allow multi-family developers to build higher density projects without breaking the budget. These types of R&D efforts allow us to grow the design profession and provide better built environments for our clients and communities.
