Joe McClyde has more than 10 years of experience in urban design and planning for neighborhoods, corridors, districts, towns, and downtowns in cities throughout the United States and abroad.  His project experience includes integrating transit, parks, and open space planning into mixed use developments to create dynamic places.  Prior to joining MVE in January of 2016, he spent the first 8 years of his career with Cooper Carry, Inc., a national multidisciplinary architecture firm, and 2 years with Katalyst, Inc., a landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firm.  Joe has been involved in the Urban Land Institute (ULI), spending 4 years on the Placemaking Initiative Council for Orange County and the Inland Empire. He was named an Associate Partner of the firm in 2022.
