Liliana Bernardis is an award-winning architect and designer whose work has been featured in a wide range of architectural journals and publications around the globe. Maintaining a delicate balance between global sophistication and local response. There is an extraordinary freshness and optimism in Liliana’s design work. The range of expression in her work is impressive-from influential and iconic structures intended to a strong statement (such as Guadalajara Airport T2). Her work has simultaneously enhanced, defined, and blurred the lines between various building typologies, including hospitality, airports, and residential mixed-use projects. She believes in the potential of projects to become catalytic, not only for the communities in which they reside but also as models for sustainable architecture. As a building designer, Liliana leads large, multi-disciplinary teams of architects who create complex, demanding buildings. As a Director of the Guadalajara office of MVE + Partners, she elevates design culture in the profession at large.
