By Steven Sharp, Reporter: Urbanize Los Angeles – Yesterday, the Vancouver, Washington-based developer (Holland Partner Group) submitted an application to the City of Los Angeles to construct a mixed-use housing project on the block bounded by 6th, 7th, Beacon, and Palos Verdes Streets. The project, named for its address at 625 Beacon Street, calls for razing three small commercial buildings to make way for an eight-story edifice featuring 281 apartments and 2,316 square feet of ground-floor retail space atop a three-level, 505-car subterranean parking garage.
