The District Music Hall is a 600-seat performance facility and serves as the main concert venue for the District and also accommodates theatre and drama productions. The new Music Hall is a part of a larger project that includes a Practice Gymnasium and an outdoor pedestrian plaza; this new complex acts as a link to the existing campus and an entry to the community. The design includes an exterior canopy structure serving as an outdoor extension to the lobby while being the prominent feature of the design that draws visitors to the site.
