This redevelopment project pays tribute to the iconic grain towers West of the newly opened Post District in Salt Lake City, Utah. It will add housing, shops, and a sizable park to the Granary District. Phase one of the project uses nearly 20,000 square feet of commercial and retail space to build two new residential buildings and turn two historic warehouses into retail and commercial areas.
Silo Park will transform this humble area known for its vacant white grain silos into a new neighborhood of affordable mid-rise apartments, walkways, shops, and a fresh downtown park. The project will add a mixed-use redevelopment that includes two new buildings and conversions of two existing structures, along with off-site parking and sizable green space — all designed as a modern celebration of the area’s gritty, industrial heritage as a warehouse district.
The initial phase will center on the east half of the block with two six-story apartment buildings and 286 studios, one- and two-bedroom dwellings, and some retail space.
